On Saturday, June 20, 2020, the Cass Scenic Railroad, along with Walter Scriptunas II, held a "Parade of Steam" in celebration of West Virginia Day, and a way to welcome everyone back to the Cass Scenic Railroad before their first passenger train on July 4th.
On this day, we are able to see five of their operational geared steam locomotives with Shays 2, 4, 5, and 11, along with recently restored Climax 9 doing the honors.
This was a great event and I am extremely happy and fortunate to be able to attend.
