I beat Brilliant Minds in one turn without going to the enemy phase. When I started working on this level, it seemed like even a one-turn completion would be tough and would probably require multiple kills during the enemy phase. However, I made a useful discovery that ultimately allowed me to finish in one phase: when a grenadier gets a Last Stand and inspires another grenadier, the inspired one gets a massive boost to the mortar's blast radius. The increased blast radius allows me to kill two different pairs of enemies with a single attack each, whereas each pair is too far apart to kill with one attack that has the normal blast radius. Plus, using Inspire gives me an extra CP. Aside from that, I use the following techniques:
* Give Riley the Double Ammo Belt. This gives her 2 additional ammo, so she starts with 5 instead of 3.
* At the beginning of each of Riley's moves except the first, get Inventor to activate, which gives her 1 extra ammo.
* After the first attack in each of Riley's first three moves, get A Child's Wish to activate, which lets her attack once more.
* After the first attack in Riley's final move, get killed and get a Last Stand in order to make one more attack. Last Stand seems to activate more often than A Child's Wish, but either would work for this move.
Note that even though Isara's level and weapon are reflected in this battle (so she's at level 30 and has the weapon I chose for her), she is unable to use accessories, and she will not be a leader even if she is assigned to be one.
