Brian Carn’s church culture is getting deeper and more concerning.
In this video, we are talking about Brian Carn telling his church members that they cannot challenge him, critique his sermons, or even question him. That is not biblical leadership — that is the kind of control you see in cult-like environments.

A faithful pastor does not fear biblical questions. A faithful shepherd does not demand blind loyalty. A faithful preacher does not tell people to shut off discernment and just accept whatever comes from the pulpit.
But when a leader says you cannot question him, cannot critique him, and cannot challenge what he teaches, that should immediately raise red flags.
The Bible never commands Christians to treat pastors like untouchable kings. The Bible commands believers to test the spirits, examine all things, search the Scriptures, and make sure what is being taught lines up with the Word of God.
If Brian Carn’s sermons are biblical, then they should be able to survive biblical examination.
If his claims are truly from God, they should not collapse under Scripture.
If his leadership is healthy, he should not need to silence questions.
This is why this issue is so dangerous. When a pastor creates a culture where members are afraid to question him, the people are no longer being discipled into maturity. They are being trained into dependence. They are being conditioned to obey a man instead of testing everything by God’s Word.
That is spiritual manipulation.
That is not shepherding.
That is control.
