This video is for Friction Fire Tuesday (FFT) inspired by IHatchetJack from the bushcraftusa.com web forum.

Intent: To regularly practice friction fire-making.

This vid unedited on purpose.

Used Bay wood for spindle, fireboard, and bearing-block. The bow is from Yellow Pine. A cheap shoestring for the bowstring (bowcord). The tinder bundle (an old squirrels nest), from one of my Queen Palm trees in my front yard.
