Ken Ham just couldn't resist weighing in on those 16,000 dinosaur tracks from Bolivia—and predictably, he got it spectacularly wrong. Just days after I covered the PLoS One paper documenting this incredible tracksite, Ham published his "creationist interpretation" claiming these fossils are "shouting Noah's flood." There's just one problem: the scientists who wrote this paper are fellow young-earth creationists from the Geoscience Research Institute!
In this video, I break down Ken Ham's response and show why his flood interpretation completely ignores the actual evidence presented in the paper—a paper written by people who share his worldview but apparently understand science better than his research team does. From invertebrate burrows that take days to form, to billions of ostracod shells requiring extended periods to accumulate, to dinosaurs casually strolling parallel to the shoreline rather than fleeing rising waters—the evidence screams "typical dinosaur day at the beach," not global catastrophe.
