This classic mindfulness meditation is often referred to as a body scan. An opportunity for you to connect with your body and notice the experiences you're having. Although Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and other mindfulness-based therapies might use a body scan for relaxation, I'm encouraging you to simply notice your experience of your body: noticing places where you feel tension and relaxation.
