Having visited Hamburg recently I was smitten by the city’s concert hall, the Elbphilharmonie. What looks quite minimalistic from afar turns out to be an incredibly detailed building. Of special interes to me were the acoustic panels within the main concert hall, developed by Yasuhisa Toyota and ONE TO ONE (http://onetoone.net/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/161128_PR_Elbphilharmonie.pdf)

In this tutorial we’ll go over how to create their intricate shapes in Houdini and render them in Blender.
