Went to my local wood supplier in Penrith ad while I was there spotted a lovely Black Walnut Blank. What drew me to it was the two tone wood.

I also did a small amount of texturing on the bottom which has a very shallow mortice.

A simple design with nice thick walls. A mixture of manual and power sanding to 320, Yorkshire Grit, Woodwax 22 and Microcrystaline Wax to finish off.
