These are my favourite types of projects in trying to make something to a particular shape style consisting of several components to make the finished item that we all recognise.
All the wood used except the beech on the mic / speaker part were all bought / acquired as scrap / firewood.
This was all made by looking at a couple of photos that I found on the Internet of old candle stick phones being sold. From that I've tried to keep as much of it as possible to look authentic but add my twist to the design.
All the main parts were sanded to 400 grit and finished with Briwax Brown.
