A strategy I've put together on an area I've had some difficulty getting through on Professional Mode without using NG+ weapons & upgrades.
It doesn't rely on luck based things such as critical shots and specific ammo drops, the only thing you need is a few handgum bullets and atleast 3 shotgun shells to take down Brute, which you're always guaranteed to find.
It's very important to get through this section without wasting healing items as they're crucial for the dynamite section that takes places a bit after this one.
