Today I am revisiting the Billie Holiday Body and Soul album due to the arrival of a new edition from the Acoustic Sounds Verve Jazz Series. I had previously done a video early on in the channel when I compared the Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab Anadisc Series release cut by Stan Ricker with the Analogue Production Verve 45 Series release cut by George Marino. At that time, my system was completely different, so I thought it would be interesting to take a listen to all three on my new system, which is listed below.
The new release of Billie Holiday Body and Soul is an all analogue cut from the original master tape by Ryan K Smith at Sterling Sound. It is pressed by Chad Kassem's Quality Record Pressing, and housed in a high gloss tip on gatefold by Stoughton Printing.
