베센트 "美 국채시장 혼란 없다 올해 주요국 중 성과 최고"

In the United States, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said worries about government bonds are overblown.
He argued that the U.S. bond market has outperformed other advanced economies this year, and that the country keeps growing even while running large budget deficits.
In an interview on Sunday, Bessent said "I'm not sure where the bond market turmoil is." The 10-year Treasury yield ended Friday near 4.73%. Bessent said higher yields came from energy prices and inflation tied to the Iran conflict, and that those pressures should fade. He also defended a surprise plan to at least double Treasury buybacks of long-dated debt. Bessent said his job is to keep the market from getting disorderly, not to set prices.
