Born in Istanbul and growing up without television, Beki Probst became a cinema addict very early in her life. After moving to Switzerland in 1960 she started managing the Probst Kinobetriebe and became the managing director of the European Film Market at Berlinale in 1988. Since 25 years she is witnessing thousands of deals between producers, buyers and distributors. To us she spoke about the remaining mystery of the commercial success of a film.
