Ever wondered how bartenders gain recognition within the industry? While hospo professionals love what we do and try to excel day in, day out, cocktail competitions are an amazing way to flex those creative muscles, network and (hopefully) win some pretty sick prizes!
Regular programming will resume on Thursday but I thought I'd fill the gap with a little sneak peak at the @elitvodka7168 Australian finals which I was lucky enough to host and judge. The drinks were incredible, many laughs were had and a rockstar (Emma Crisp from Perth, Australia) took it out and won a trip to Athens, Greece to compete against top bartenders from around the world.
Bartending isn't always glamorous, but sometimes it's pretty cool and I just wanted to share :)
