Infinitely adaptable and always delicious - a (quicker) look at how to make an amazing Punch Bowl.
Fred's (very rough!) Punch Recipe:
Ingredients:
Peels of 2 grapefruits and 4 lemons
1 cup sugar
1 cup grapefruit juice
1 cup lemon juice
3 cups lemongrass and ginger tea
3 cinnamon sticks
6 star anise
1 cup Jamaican rum
1 cup brandy
1 cup Batavian arrack
1 cup semi dry Madeira
1/2 cup apricot brandy
3 cups grapefruit soda
Glass: punch bowl and cups
Garnish: grapefruit and lime slices, mint sprigs
Method: Add sugar to citrus peel and allow to sit over night. Pour hot tea over to dissolve sugar. Add all other ingredients, add ice and garnish.
