What a beautiful little face!
This gorgeous howler monkey is safe with us now, but for so many howlers in Costa Rica, life in the treetops is far more dangerous than it should be. Exposed power lines are one of the biggest threats, with monkeys simply trying to move through the canopy and ending up on live cables. Others arrive in our care after dog attacks or vehicle accidents, often frightened, hurt and in desperate need of help.
