A couple years ago during our Eastern Washington/Idaho road trip, Alan, Bryn and I stopped in the small town of Wapato where Basin Disposal was running a route that day. Not long after searching around this sketchy neighborhood we found this truck with a super cool and fast operator behind the wheel.
As you can see BDI had done a rollout there somewhat recently at the time so there weren’t too many original BDI carts anymore. Nonetheless this was one of the older trucks BDI ran at the time I believe, so it was cool seeing a truck that would probably be phased out in the near future.
