Here is footage of the first week of RecycLA collections back when the program started in late 2017. Prior to the city's franchising, several haulers had serviced the area I lived in, from Republic to NASA to Full Circle. At the time this was taken, Athens had just rolled out new Rehrig Universals to all commercial accounts in the area, but if you look closely in the video you may still see carts from other companies.
While these trucks have completely taken over the Westside of Los Angeles, it's often hard to catch a truck this fresh off the assembly line. If I recall correctly, the crew told me the truck had just been delivered to the yard and this was the first day using it.
I also remember one of the guys wanting to see this video on Youtube, so here it is over 5 years later!
