Not every bargain is as it looks like at first sight. Here we got a job lot of lathe tool holders, sold to me (rather cheap) as Dickson style T2, but some of them are actually not.
The 2 good ones were well worth the money, so not really a good reason to complain. Instead we put them on the mill and made them fit to the T2 tool post on the South Bend.... with a surprise at the end.
We also hauled a larger quantity of slideway oils and coolant oil, at least those are are bargain at $2 because they actually contain what it says on the tin. All of the above were ebay (UK) finds.
This is supposed to be the first episode of my new Bargain Time series, just showcasing some good and some not so lucky finds on various auctions and flea markets. Other than my larger auction haul videos, here i am thinking of about 2 or 3 individual items per episode to keep it rather short, please let me know what you think of such a series.
