A sloth family arrived at our center- two adults and a tiny baby - and went straight for a medical check-up.
The infant clung to mum and wouldn’t let go, so exams took patience and very gentle handling. Don’t worry - they were reunited right away.
Confiscated by SINAC on suspicion of illegal wildlife trade, the trio received initial care with us before being transferred to specialist sloth experts for the very best support - especially for the infant. We’re happy to share they’ve now been released!
