The baby in this video is Ash. He was found clinging to his mother’s lifeless body after she was electrocuted. Just like Tres. Just like Estrellita. This isn’t rare - it’s devastatingly common.
Some of these orphaned babies end up in our sanctuary, too injured or traumatized to ever return to the wild. Right now, we’re caring for 49 rescued animals who need food, medicine, safety, and love every single day and will need it for the rest of their lives.
