Xavier is one of the Fire Emblem series' weird recruitments, similar to Stefan in PoR/RD, where you have to fulfill an arbitrary condition to recruit him, and his stat line is even more interesting. He has very good Mag, Lck, and Res with low Str and Def, which is weird for an armor knight type class. This means that in most of his fights, he would prefer to use the magic weapons that this series has to offer. Getting to his skills, he gets Pavise & Wrath as personal skills in FE5 and Paragon to simulate Paragon mode in FE5, as that is what he was requested as. He also has a bunch of stat boosters from Bargain, which is another weird condition where if all of his soldiers under his command survive the chapter that he's in, the player gets the Member Card, which in this series is translated to Bargain, giving the aforementioned stat boosters to him (see below the stats that he got from it). But perhaps the most powerful skill at his disposal is Accost. Accost in FE5 lets the initiating unit, initiate the same battle again if they have higher current HP and Spd than the opponent. Since this would hardly happen for a lot of the units in FE5 due to low bases or growths, we changed it to be if the SUM of the unit's current HP and Spd is higher than the opposition, Accost procs. And while he doesn't have the best HP and Spd on their own, there are a surprising amount of units that have a lower total between the two compared to Xavier. And with his crazy high 79 Lck, meaning only Micaiah can initiate against him, he will have plenty of opportunities to use Accost to his advantage. Overall a very interesting and powerful build.
