Mia didn't really get too much from with her buff going from 41 to 45 Luck, but looking at how well she ended up performing in this video, I'd say it was a pretty solid buff! Or maybe she just got extraordinarily unlucky in her first video (and some of the more recent videos as well lol). Her main strategy here and pre-buff is to Astra the enemy into oblivion because of her low Str, but her skill, Vantage, helps her out a lot in this regard. If she can't finish off an enemy on the first turn when she initiates, she can just Vantage on the enemy's turn and try again. And with a very solid 66 Speed, she has a 2/3 chance to proc it each time. Having the extra 4 Luck, helps out her Astra damage consistency that she may have been missing before. She's also the most tanky defensively out of all the Trueblades with her 80 HP and 40 Defense which lets her survive the first round more often than the other ones (Maybe Eddy edges her out a little bit with his superior HP). This makes her skill, Vantage, that much more coveted since she gets a very solid chance to initiate first again on the following turn when she does survive the enemies' attacks.

The unit with the higher base speed will initiate first. (If unit has Shade or Stillness they will always choose who goes first). If both units have the same speed, the unit whose video it is will go first.
For weapons, the unit who is faster chooses the weapon they want the unit they are attacking gets to choose a weapon to counter them with. The unit who attacks first, goes through all the possible weapon combinations and picks whatever situation would give them the best chance at victory. After the initial turn, the only time a unit can change their weapon is on their turn.
