Jaffar is one of the GBA units that doesn't really get much from their game since there are no skills and generally the growth rates are lower. In this series, I have a GBA unit formula to help push their growths up a little bit since that is the main way to help units out in this series. As for skills, any GBA unit (that doesn't have a build in a more modern game, like Lyn in Fire Emblem Engage, for example) gets access to the unique skill from their Fire Emblem Awakening build along with their original build in FEH. So for Jaffar, since his class in Awakening is Assassin, the four skills that he has (Locktouch, Movement +1, Lethality, & Pass) are skills that he would NOT take because they are in the Assassin's skill list. However, his fifth skill there, Galeforce, is not from the Assassin skill list, which means he brings it over here! Galeforce was a bit tricky to translate to this series since it depends on the unit defeating their opposition. But the way I did it for this series was making it based on how much damage the unit does to their opponent. If they do 33% HP or more when the unit with Galeforce initiates (any damage done when they don't initiate doesn't count), they can initiate again on the next turn. Jaffar doesn't really get to use it too often since his Lck is quite low, but it's still a powerful skill to have. He also gets some miscellaneous stat boosts from FEH and Cancel from his personal weapon, Deathly Dagger. Overall, Jaffar ends up decent, thanks to a lot of help from the GBA unit formula and FEH giving him a lot of extra growths and stats, but the main thing that hinders him is that really poor Lck that he has. Even with Silencer (Lethality in this series) and Critical +20, if he can't go first, he can't really take advantage of it. Not to mention the crits that he has to deal with on top of the mastery skills since his bulk isn't that high either. If he does survive the first combat, he does have a lot of damage coming with his great Str/Skl/Spd combo.
