The Artist Guitars AS72 might well be the best value S-style guitar on the market today. It sports a mahogany body, quarter-sawn roasted maple neck, rosewood 14" fingerboard, stainless steel medium-jumbo frets (finished impeccably, I should add), abalone fret markers and luminous side dots (not mentioned in the video), hand-wound HSS pickups, locking machine heads, bone nut and a six-point tremolo with modern string spacing that works beautifully. This is all wrapped up in a nitro-red-paisley-relic finish guaranteed to get many second looks. The 14" profile coupled with the stainless steel frets makes for a smooth, easy ride and it sounds as good as it looks. All for under AUD$600 (at time of writing). Bargain? Hell, yes.
