The recent release of FW: 28.05 for Axe--FX III sees a bunch of amps remastered, including the USA Pre suite which is based on the Mesa TriAxis Preamp. This is a preamp that usually conjures up humbucker-powered muscular tones in my head so I was interested to see if I could make it work with a plain old Strat. I like the results so much I think I'll port it to the FM9 and use it on the road when we go out again in June. This no-chat Scene playthrough uses my partscaster with JJ's '59 Set Pickups.
