This video shows a method of making orpiment ash (haritāla bhasma) described in the Rasataraṅginī. The ash is an ingredient in the recipe for making alchemical silver in the Rasaprakāśasudhākara (shown in a separate video).
This experiment yielded somewhat better results then the first method (from the Bhāvaprakāśa, see youtu.be/2sLX2TMa1Bs).
