A handful of politicians are now openly talking about expanding the Supreme Court.
They call it reform.
They call it transparency.
They call it fixing the Court.
But what they’re really talking about is court-packing — adding seats until the Supreme Court says what they want it to say.
And for gun owners, that is the whole ballgame.
Every major Second Amendment win we’ve celebrated runs through the Supreme Court.
Heller.
Bruen.
Carry protections.
Magazine bans.
Assault weapons bans.
The AR-15 case coming before the Court.
All of it depends on the Court being willing to say the Constitution means what it says.
But if they add four new seats and fill them with justices who treat the Second Amendment like a typo, every one of those wins goes right back on the operating table.
They don’t have to ban every gun nationwide if they own the court that decides whether gun bans survive.
They don’t have to beat the Second Amendment directly.
They just have to pack the referee.
That’s why this matters.
Because the same people telling you they only want “reform” are also telling you the current Court keeps getting in their way.
That’s the point.
The Supreme Court is the wall that blue-state gun bans eventually run into.
Pack the Court, and that wall comes down.
Every ban that used to get struck down suddenly survives.
Every unconstitutional bill gets a green light.
And every gun-rights win you thought was locked in becomes temporary.
So when a politician says “expand the Court,” understand what they’re really saying:
Add seats until your rights lose.
This is not routine housekeeping.
