Another chatterbox gaiden episode here. Some things are explained, Theo most certainly does NOT want Samuel sending a letter back to House Rose, and Samuel seeming to have something against Lightbringers.
As the shops from chp 4 are here, make sure you grab anything you want out of them. The vendor has Restore staves which you want to get at least two of while the big ticket prize at the armory is the Greatbow. Heavy, but very high attack. Samuel or Garam with this weapon can dish out some serious pain let me tell you.
Finally, talking to Natalie presents an interesting choice. You have the option to send her away and she'll return much much later, but stronger. What you decide on is completely up to you.
When you're ready to move the story onwards, visit Aylanda's house in the northwest. As Baud claims talking with her, Samuel wants to turn her over to Thorgrim while Jakka disagrees with Samuel. Baud, being the leader and thus having the final say, decides to side with Jakka. He refuses to throw Aylanda to the wolves and wants to protect her by bringing her into his army, keeping her out of sight of Baud's father & brothers.
More chatting though leads to a rather big argument when Maria, Baud's mother, is brought up. Baud claims the whole Lightbringer war long ago was triggered by one of Aylanda's own murdering Maria, then firing the war gears off. Aylanda claims that never happened, saying that Maria left Thorgrim to hang out with her and even tried herself to end the way peacefully.
Very interesting story developments. Baud's gonna have to think about this new revelation overnight.
