Last year's Resident Evil 2 remake was considered by many to be a rebirth of survival horror, in no small part due to Mr X—the unstoppable beast stalking you through the halls of the police station. Resident Evil 3's recently released remake had Nemesis—like Mr X on steroids—and yet, this sequel has received a decidedly mixed reception. By comparing the way both games handle their respective stalkers, in this episode of Writing on Games (a follow up to last year's "An Examination of Mr X") let's try to figure out why that is, and see if Nemesis can bring anything new to the table.
