4K - The Auto Train is arguably one of the most unique passenger trains in North America. Running overnight daily service between Virginia and Florida, it provides an easy alternative for East Coast travellers, seeking to avoid the I-95. Originally started as a private entity in the 1970's, Amtrak has been running this service since the 1980's, with great success.

Featured are various shots of the Auto Train along the CSX RF&P Subdivision in Northern Virginia, throughout 2022 and 2023. One of my favorite trains to shoot, not only due to the unique consist, but some vintage P40's, which are pooled for this rotation!
