Transporting visitors in style, the Grand Canyon Railway runs daily between Williams, Arizona and the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. With today marking the first day of Spring, I thought it was appropriate to close out the recent Winter season with this video highlighting this unique railroad operation.

Using classic ex-Amtrak EMD F40PH locomotives and vintage railcars, the GCRY is a welcome trip back in time, especially in today's world of new locomotive power invading the railways in the United States. I followed the Grand Canyon Railway operations on 2 separate days in early 2019 at various points along the line.
