🚨Lissy has been rescued from the DANCING BEAR TRADE! PLEASE HELP. 🚨 Donate via link in CHANNEL BIO!
Lissy is just three years old. Her muzzle had been brutally pierced. A rough rope was forced through sensitive flesh to make her “dance.” Her canine teeth were smashed to make her easier to control.
This cruelty was supposed to be over.
The dancing bear trade was ended years ago thanks to supporters like you. But there are still people trying to revive it in the shadows. Lissy is living proof.
In Jharkhand, India, the Forest Department received a tip-off about a suspected dancing bear. When officials closed in, the handler fled, abandoning her. She was malnourished, suffering from diarrhea, and deeply traumatized.
She will never return to the wild. She would not survive.
Right now, our partners, Wildlife SOS, are providing urgent veterinary treatment, specialist nutrition, and the constant care she desperately needs.
Please donate now to help us reach our $68,000 target and fund Lissy’s recovery.
Lissy needs long-term care, enrichment, and monitoring to heal from severe physical and psychological trauma
