Another monkey has been electrocuted. A capuchin. The burns are severe. We don’t know if they’ll make it.

And honestly? We’re furious.

In 2024, Costa Rica passed Executive Decree 44329. It was supposed to stop this. It was supposed to protect animals from exposed power lines.

NOTHING HAS CHANGED!

Do the lawmakers of Costa Rica have any idea what it’s like to look into the eyes of a wild animal in agony?

To see them shaking, screaming, burned from head to toe, because no one bothered to insulate a cable?

Because we do. All the time.

Power companies aren’t doing their jobs. The government isn’t enforcing the law. And the animals are paying the price.

How many more need to die before someone actually does something?

We’re sick of the silence.

Sign the petition. Demand action. Because if we don’t speak up, more animals will suffer like this.
