Cakes for Apes is a global baking fundraiser that brings people together to help protect critically endangered orangutans. Every cake baked, shared, and enjoyed helps support rescue, rehabilitation and the long journey back to life in the wild.
This Ape-ril, people all over the world will be taking part in their own way. Some will host a small cake sale, others an office bake-off, a coffee morning with friends, or something entirely their own. There’s no right way to do it – just a willingness to get involved and have a bit of fun while doing some good.
When you sign up, you’ll receive a fundraising pack full of ideas to help you get started. From there, it’s up to you how wild you want to go. Bake something simple or ambitious, keep it low-key or make it a proper event – every effort makes a difference.
