A subscriber kindly told me about this abandoned house and he described it very well from his child hood memories. I had no trouble finding this place although it was two miles of trudging through a soggy field to get to it, hoping that I didn't get a farmer spot me and start shooting at me LOL. The house was quite imposing perched high on the hill over looking the valley and would have been a pretty place once. It was odd that only the house remains and no sign of any sort of out houses or structures remain. Not even any sign of the old drive which I found curious.
