I had no idea what I'd stumbled onto with this find until an Instagram friend told me about the name of the property once I'd posted a photo of it on my insta.

All I knew was that I was really not enjoying the trip because as some of you are aware there has been drought here and I was ready to go home. I'd driven past this place but decided to turn around and check it out.
Im so glad I did. It seemed in the middle of no where. Well, it was in the middle of no where and set back abit from the road. What the heck, I decided to go check it out and WOW!
what I'd thought was just a red cottage from the road turned out to be this sprawling homestead sheep shears quarters that was HUGE.
I've never seen one so big and as some of you know I explored what I'd thought was a large one a few videos back.

This place just kept giving more and more the more I explored and I'd have to say that I'm blown away by how substantial the quarters were pus the amount of history that is now just going to end up in the dirt. There were bake ovens still with the iron stoker/rake thingy still there as well as the dinner bell that once would call the shearers in for dinner. So much to see and so impressive this place is.
I do now know the name of this place and would love to go back again sometime to check out all of the station buildings that I didn't know existed and were just over the hill.
Yes I swore but I did beep it out so don't report me.
