What I've discovered from my abandoned explores is that something that meant so much to some one when they were alive actually means so little when you are gone as with this house which as I upload this video has probably been torn down to make way for the motorway that has been in some of my videos.
The man who once lived here was probably so proud of his achievements at winning his local dart comps and had them all displayed for everyone to see but now he is no longer there, they just sit gathering dust meaninglessly and they too will end up bulldozed into oblivion gone forever with no one ever knowing they were ever there.This house was in the small group of houses and petrol station I filmed and you can see it in the video of the petrol station. There were a few items that would have been nice to have saved and the dresser was in quite good shape. I did manage to salvage the fancy door knobs on the quilted wardrobe for my vintage caravan and they look wonderful and I'm grateful that at least I could reuse them.This house was probably built originally for a sugar cane farmer as cane fields surround it.
