I heard that there was a NS leader on a northbound/westbound BNSF grain train coming out of Barstow, heading through the Tehachapi pass, through Bakersfield, and up to Conejo, CA. So, of course I had to go chase it! It was a close call by the time I heard about this train coming down the hill so I headed up as fast as I could and caught it at Rowen first and then chased it all the way back down to Bakersfield. It's cool that the only Norfolk Southern unit on the train was the leader while the rest was normal BNSF power. Anyways, it was a smooth chase and I'm glad it was all in the daylight. Enjoy!
