The "Tsunami Bowl" (also widely known as the "Monsoon Bowl") refers to the legendary weather-delayed game between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Carolina Panthers played on September 25, 2011. The Week 3 matchup took place at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. During the second quarter, a torrential downpour moved over the stadium, flooding the field and completely reducing visibility for both players and cameras. Despite the standing water making footing nearly impossible, the teams played through the torrential rain, leading to an incredibly sloppy, nostalgic, and memorable game.
