fun facts!
-the undesirable latte art came from an idea i had for a zine back when i was making stuff for canzine. i didn't get around to making it, but now that i've actually done some drawing, it might come about!
-i had to hook my arm around the wall to stay upright while crouching on the thin back of the stove--made sure you couldn't tell with some clever camera angling
-the traffic sounds that are in the background of many of the shots come from a recording i did for the project i mentioned last week. again, more about that later!
-but actually though, the book scene with the woman and the paper clip and the affair has haunted me since i was a child. i don't know?? it just really stuck with me?? a complex and morally grey situation??i literally remember NOTHING ELSE about the book or her story??
-yes, those are all self-portraits in ballpoint pen of me pulling hideous expressions, drawn back in october for a zine. they were wildly fun to draw, because if i made a mistake, it just made me uglier, which was the Whole Point. i was practically crying with laughter.
-all of the unfinished songs were recent shitty musings except for "the list of things i don't believe in" which is a tiny segment that has been floating around my head literally since i was seventeen or so. i've never been able to find an actual song for it. it's always just been those four lines
