In this video I am out for a three day, two night canoe camping trip on the beautiful Norfolk Broads.
After an early start from South Walsham Broad, I head up to the River Bure and the impressive St Benets Abbey, standing proud next to the river. My journey then takes me up the River Thurne, a quick visit to Hunters Yard, past Potter Heigham and up to the head of the river at Martham Broad and the little village of West Somerton.
Eventually finding a camp spot next to the river, I set about making a stew for dinner and setting up a simple camp. Dinner, wine and the weariness of the long days paddle soon has me looking to my bed - a good rest before tomorrows exciting adventure.
