The dangerous side effects of antihypertensive drugs can outweigh the potential benefits of those drugs, at least until blood pressure is more seriously elevated. This is why it is so important to find nonpharmaceutical strategies for lowering blood pressure. The good news is that those strategies only have positive side effects.
