Peter Helland, Michael Jones, Vincent Hunter, and Mario Sims did a show in South Bend, Indiana on June 4th, 2020. They discussed the George Floyd death on May 25, 2020 in Minneapolis. Here we have just 5 minutes of discussion between Peter Helland and Vincent Hunter. Peter challenges the overwhelming acceptance by almost all Americans that Officer Chauvin murdered George Floyd. Peter had many facts wrong but he admitted he could be wrong only 10 days after the death. At this date, April 7th, 2021, the trial is on and already it seems the Minneapolis police chief admitted that the video shows that Chauvin's knee was not on Floyd's neck but on the shoulder blade of George Floyd. With evidence like this coming in one juror may easily decide to acquit. By far the real issue is why did almost 99% of Americans sign on that Chauvin absolutely murdered Floyd and the presumption of innocence in Chauvin's case had to be suspended. But the fundamental theological question here is: As God's law requires children to honor and obey their parents does God's law obligate us to a similar duty towards those whom Romans 13 calls the ministers of God? In other words how much special treatment or honor and respect should officer Chauvin expect because he is an officer of the Law?
