Right after Dr. Jones talked about his article on Cardinal McCarrick and the Homolobby last week the Pennsylvania priest scandal broke. Mike explains how this latest scandal is a continuation of the psychological warfare that is being waged against the American people and especially the Catholic Church. This time he delves even deeper into what this warfare is about and how and why it is being waged. Mike tells an interesting story of when his oldest son was a student at Harvard in the early nineties he and his friends produced a magazine challenging the homosexuals on campus. The chaplain at Harvard, Rev. Peter Gomes, had come out saying he was gay. Much of the campus was rallying around the teaching of Chaplain Gomes which Mike's son's group was valiantly opposing. This new doctrine Gomes was articulating has now become mainstream in America over 20 years later. Gomes wrote in "The Good Book" in his chapter on "The Bible and Homosexuality":
"In other words, are we able to advance beyond the moral hypothesis of Saint Augustine and Saint Thomas Aquinas that the sole natural function of sex is procreation? The answer is yes.....as Hefling neatly summarizes it, "Sex can be productive without being reproductive." On this basis Hefling argues that "homosexual intercourse is not, in and of itself, the unnatural vice that tradition condemns."
Obviously the American government and educational system is wanting us to view homosexuality as normal and therefore they want to claim that priest's sexual immorality is primarily pedophilia and not homosexuality. But the facts say otherwise says Mike.
Mike begins and ends this interview by pointing out how these latest so called scandals might be used by the American government to weaken the moral voice of the Catholic Church to prevent it from effectively opposing a war with Iran.
