52 No time Like the Present
1
I don’t wish to wane philosophic,
With both feet off the ground,
Pondering both time and space,
And explaining rainbows I have found.
2
But what about infinity,
I’ve heard it goes both ways,
To the left is left in the past,
To the right the rest of days.
3
But what about between the two,
That awkward adolescent,
Crushed between continuums,
There is no time like the present.
4
The past is already over,
It no longer exists,
It is now only a memory,
Slowly fading in the mist.
5
And what then of the future,
The same is true don’t forget,
The future also does not exist,
Because it hasn’t happened yet.
6
Now we come to the present,
There is no room left in the pattern,
The timeline contains only past and future,
There is no space for it to happen.
7
So the past isn’t real at all,
And if the future we disallow,
Is the present just a memory,
And when the heck is now?
