14 Loch Ness Monster

In high school my teacher pointed to,
The number on the door,
Then he said it’s not a number,
Rather it’s a numeral, not the number four.

Now I don’t run on high octane,
And I’m not the clean up batter,
But still I understood the concept,
But didn’t know why it mattered.

So if I write down Loch Ness Monster,
In this class sometime today,
That’s not the real Lock Ness Monster,
Rather he lives deep down and far away.

So what those letters really do,
Is represent our view,
What the thing really is,
Is separate and new.

And all that we can think of,
Is real at least one time,
Nessie can be real in the Loch,
Or be real in our mind.

Thank you Mr. Teacher,
For now I think it’s funny,
That big foot, and UFO’s,
Have taken D. B. Cooper’s Money.

So its dragons and mermaids,
Where voodoo dolls abide,
It’s ghosts and guardian angels,
And Elvis is still alive,
