Reaffirming the Executive and Legislative Branches' commitment to advancing priority reforms aimed at strengthening the economy, improving governance and expanding opportunities for Filipinos, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. presided over the 4th Legislative-Executive Development Advisory Council (LEDAC) Full Meeting of the 20th Congress at the Kalayaan Hall in Malacañan Palace on August 6, 2026.
During the meeting, the LEDAC underscored the importance of close collaboration between the Executive and Congress to advance key legislative measures. It also tackled priority bills intended for passage before the end of June 2027.
Among the measures discussed was a review of the implementation of Republic Act No. 12001, the Real Property Valuation and Assessment Reform Act, including possible amendments to the Law. The proposed review aims to prevent additional burdens on property owners and businesses, encourage greater investment, and ensure a smooth and equitable transition to the new property valuation system.
