President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. received Her Excellency Maria Alfonsa Magdalena (Marielle) Geraedts, outgoing Ambassador of the Netherlands to the Philippines, during a farewell call at the Study Room in Malacañan Palace on July 29, 2026.

The President expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Geraedts for her contributions to advancing cooperation between the Philippines and the Netherlands in economic and technological development, maritime affairs, trade and diplomacy.

The two countries are commemorating the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations, which was established on May 17, 1951.
