Hey everyone! Can you believe it's been 4 years? I can't either. In honor of my YouTube Anniversary I have made a cake, no not an edible cake, a cupcake hat of course. I've always wanted to make a cupcake hat and I thought this was the best time too. I hope you guys try out this hat and send me some pictures.

Items Used:
Clove Bamboo 2 sets circular needles size 8 (5mm), 16" cable
Clover Bamboo double pointed needles size 8 (5mm)
Caron Simply Soft Yarn in Off White, Chocolate, Lemonade, Watermelon and Light Pink
Craft Smart Yarn in Bright Red
Instructions:
Ruffle:
Cast on 224 sts, with white (main color)
Row 1: Knit
Row 2: Purl
Repeat Rows 1 & 2 one more time, total 4 rows.
Row 5: *K2tog; rep from * across.
Hat:
Cast on 84 sts, with brown (bottom color)
Work 2x2 rib for 10 rows. (K2, P2)
Inc Row: *K3, M1; rep from * around - 112 sts
Add ruffle by knitting a stitch from front and back needle together.
Work knit for 5", (for less slouchy hat work 3")
Decreases:
Dec Row 1: K1, *K6, K2tog; rep to last 7 sts, K7.
Row 2 and all even rows: Knit.
Row 3: K1, *K5, K2tog; rep from * across.
Row 5: K1, *K4, K2tog; rep from * across.
Row 7: K1, *K3, K2tog; rep from * across.
Row 9: K1, *K2, K2tog; rep from * across.
Row 11: K1, *K1, K2tog; rep from * across.
Row 13: K1, *K2tog; rep from * across.
Row 15: K1, *K2tog; rep from * across.
Cut yarn and weave through remaining sts and draw closed.
Optional:
Add "cherry", pom pom to top of hat.
Add "sprinkles", to top of hat.

Hey everyone! This is the cutest crochet flower ever. I used it in my March Hat of The Month: Princess & The Frog. You can either do, 1 color, 2 colors or even 3 colors for this flower and you can stop at any point for a different flower style. I hope you guys enjoy.

Instructions:
Rnd 1 (RS): Using color A; make a slip ring, ch 2, sc 7 in ring, pull end to close ring, sl st to top ch of 2 ch. 8 sts.
Rnd 2: ch 2, sc 1 in base of first ch, sc 2 in each of next 7 sts, sl st to top ch of 2 ch. 16 sts.
Rnd 3: Using color B; ch 4, [skip 1 sc, sc 1 in next sc, ch 3] 7 times, sl st to top ch of 4 ch.
8 ch-sp.
